The Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch is pleased that one of their dancers, the only 24-year-old Stephanie Troyak, was nominated for the 2018 Faust Prize.
Fans of the dance theater can still remember her appearance in the "Seven Deadly Sins" when she was whirling around the stage as Anna II, that was in January this year. No easy task for the young Stephanie Troyak, because the role was difficult and had been danced at the premiere in 1976 by the great Josephine Ann Endicott. However, the 24-year-old Canadian mastered the task so well that she could now receive the German theater prize "Der Faust" in the category "Actress Dance".
